For the third event in Theatre B’s Fridays in September (and some in October) series, we invite you to a one-of-a-kind comedy experience: STANDUP TAKES A SEAT.

Led by local comedy favorite Jenni Lou Russi, this night turns the traditional standup show on its head. Instead of standing at the mic, comics “take a seat” and lean into raw storytelling, fresh improvisation, and quick-witted audience connection. The result? Comedy that’s intimate, unpredictable, and completely in the moment.

And because we love a good challenge, the comics will take on AI itself in the ultimate showdown: proving that natural intelligence is funnier than artificial intelligence.
