Join us for a staged reading of A Job Well Done written by Elena Naskova and directed by Betsy Davis. Part of the FIRST DRAFT staged reading series presented by the Edmonds Driftwood Players and Driftwood After Dark.

Synopsis: Mark owns a small software solutions business and is facing bankruptcy because the software keeps crashing. Although he can’t afford to hire a developer, he brings on Alex, a young undocumented immigrant, to fix the code. On her first day, Mark locks Alex in the office and refuses to let her go home until she repairs the software. Things only get worse from there.

Expected Run Time: 90 minutes, with no intermission. A Playwright Feedback session will be held after the reading and is encouraged but optional to stay and participate.

Content Info: Adult language, physical violence, immigrant rights, off stage murder.

First Draft is a free staged reading series, but we ask that you reserve tickets, in case of changes to capacity prior to the event. Seating is Festival Seating (not assigned). We will be checking people off on a door list upon arrival, so you will NOT receive printed tickets in the mail or at Will Call. Our concessions and bar will NOT be open.
