THE ODD I SEE

By J. Mason Beiter

Directed by J Mason Beiter

After 10 long years of fighting in the Trojan War, Odysseus and his crew desperately attempt to journey back to their home of Ithaca. Their famous story comedically retells their journey through a cyclops’ cave, a bag of winds, a trip to the underworld, and pissing off many gods, monsters, and people along the way. The hot-headed Odysseus is very cunning but learns more about himself and what he really wants on his epic homecoming. All of this is narrated by the god of theater and wine himself. (All characters and story based on Homer’s The Odyssey).

An intimate script-in-hand play reading that's open to the public! This series enables local talent to grow in their craft by performing for live audiences in a casual atmosphere with minimal production elements.
