Nimbus Dance: Debut in Summit

Nimbus Dance, New Jersey's leading contemporary dance organization, proudly makes its Summit debut with an evening of dance that boldly encompasses jazz and classical music, and evocative storytelling by its company of exceptional professional dance artists. Having recently opened a new location in Downtown Summit, Nimbus is known for performances at venues including NJPAC, Brooklyn Academy of Music, Tanglewood and Jacob’s Pillow, and is celebrated for collaborations with organizations such as the New Jersey Symphony. Nimbus presents Artistic Director Samuel Pott's acclaimed work Memo alongside Dawn Marie Bazemore’s The After Party, showcasing the company’s signature blend of virtuosity and of-the-moment relevance. Students from the School of Nimbus Summit Campus round out this captivating evening of dance with excerpts from Giselle, under the direction of School Co-Director Sarah Lane, a former Principal Dancer with American Ballet Theater.
