Have you ever wanted to be part of the artistic process? The third installment of The Loop series invites audiences to step inside a dynamic, immersive jazz and poetry improvisation with The Conversations Trio, featuring musicians Bill Vitek (piano) and Ron White (bass), with poet Burnham Holmes.

A cocktail hour in the Jean’s Place Lounge begins at 5pm, and the cabaret-style performance with table and general seating begins at 6p. 

“The art of jazz starts when the thinking stops,” - Bill Vitek.

Author of 17 books and deeply steeped in jazz history, Burnham Holmes will compose poetry as the music unfolds. He will share a poem after each three-song set.

This will be a conversation-friendly environment. Bring friends, enjoy music and conversation together, and feel a part of the art of jazz, with a side of poetry.
