You live in Addison County. You drive on Addison roads, send your kids to Addison schools, read the Addison Independent. But do you know who Joseph Addison actually was?

Doug Anderson went looking for answers and found a story that connects London coffee shops, revolutionary politics, and one of George Washington's favorite plays to the county we call home. He'll sit down with Joseph Addison himself in a London coffee shop, brought to life by professional actor Jeremy Holm, best known for his role in House of Cards, who will portray Addison himself in a staged reading on the historic Rothrock Main Stage, cabaret style.

This is the first in a series of events at Town Hall Theater celebrating the 250th anniversary of American Independence.
