Storyspinners

Stories make us human, but in this play, stories can make us many other things. The storyspinners work together to conjure up new worlds, but they don’t always agree on the path the stories will take. Their arguments lead to laughter, but when they are at their best, working as one, the result is sheer magic. Ed Bernstein and Melissa Shaner use heightened “fairy tale” language and quickfire dialogue, physical comedy, and poignant lyricism, to bring out the power of storytelling to link past and future, fantasy and reality, individuals and communities.
