Depressed and closeted from his bible thumping parents, 25 year-old Jonah Moody is thinking about ending it all when his high school sweetheart shows up in the nick of time. While his ex tries to help him see the positive, an ad for rodeo clown school streams in the background and Jonah sees a chance for a different kind of re-invention. He leaves Detroit for a little town called Death, Texas hoping to conquer his fears while facing down thousand pound bulls.
Native Detroiter and Detroit Rep alum Will Street gives us this story about a young man lost and confused, who finds redemption, forgiveness and self love in a world diametrically opposed to the one he’s use to. |
