Oh So Sweet: The Songs of Gordon Lightfoot featuring the Classic Lightfoot Live band is more than a tribute concert — it’s an immersive celebration of one of Canada’s most beloved and influential songwriters.

Blending exceptional musicianship, heartfelt storytelling, stunning visuals and the stories behind the songs, Gordon Lightfoot's legacy comes to life in a way you don’t just hear… you feel.

From the first note, audiences are taken back — to the songs that shaped moments big and small. Between iconic hits and understated hidden gems, Oh So Sweet honours the depth, poetry, and timeless artistry of Lightfoot’s legendary catalogue, bringing his music to life with authenticity and heart.

What makes this production especially meaningful is the band’s deep personal connection to Lightfoot’s music and legacy. Lead vocalist John Stinson became close with Lightfoot’s original lead guitarists, Red Shea and Terry Clements — relationships that helped inspire and shape this remarkable theatre production. Lead guitarist Eric Kidd studied directly with Red Shea and is renowned for capturing the unmistakable guitar style that helped define Lightfoot’s sound. Adding even more authenticity, bassist Steve Eyers is Lightfoot’s nephew, bringing a uniquely personal connection to the music and the stories.
