A man confined to a wheelchair, a woman confined to that man
"Everywhere and in every crack, gender violence sprouts like a weed, destroying love, good intentions, mental health, and respect for the dignity of life. Everything is portrayed. Nothing is missing. This play is a mirror and a magnificent spotlight.” - Delvis Griselle Ortiz (El nuevo día)
Teatro Círculo presents Éter; a necessary, relevant, raw, human, liberating and poetic justice play. The story unfolds in the dining room of a humble house in a town in southern Puerto Rico. We see a sad Sole who has dedicated herself to her home and caring for her paraplegic husband, Azael, confined to a wheelchair for years after a car accident.
