Following his recent Oregon Art Beat feature broadcast on PBS, Filipino-American pianist Jim-Isaac Chua brings his Northwest tour to the Chehalem Cultural Center, continuing his work of bringing classical music to every corner of the Northwest.

Since his solo debut at Carnegie Hall, Chua has performed in more than a dozen countries. Radio Szczecin described his playing as “an incredible feast for the ears,” a response echoed by critics and audiences throughout his international career.
With spoken introductions woven into the program, Chua performs masterpieces of the piano while tracing the artistic links between composers across generations — from Couperin and Bach to Chopin, Liszt, Brahms, and Debussy.
