The Summer Savoyards present Gilbert and Sullivan's comic opera Iolanthe

July 10-12, 2026
Chamber Hall
Various Showtimes

You know that fairies are real. But can they marry humans? Or be elected members of the British Parliament? Iolanthe got a life sentence for having a human husband -- and that's a harsh sentence for an immortal. Now her son Strephon wants to marry a rich human girl named Phyllis. The trouble is: so does most of the government. Maybe a political office with help Strephon. After all, he's only half fairy -- down to the waist.
