Barnaby Bright is an alt-Americana trio blending indie folk with contemporary influences shaped by a journey from Brooklyn to Nashville to Kansas, alongside Nathan’s Oklahoma roots and distant connection to Merle Haggard. Known for transforming vivid storytelling into immersive live performances, their shows move effortlessly between love songs, murder ballads, and deeply resonant themes—often leaving audiences describing the experience as spiritual.

Led by Nathan’s virtuosic acoustic guitar and banjo work and Becky’s soaring vocals over the harmonium, the Kansas City–based group recently expanded with the addition of Carmen Dieker, whose haunting fiddle and violin deepen their signature three-part harmonies. Acclaimed by Songwriter’s Circle, Amazon’s Top 100 Albums of the Year, and The New York Times, Barnaby Bright has also had music featured on Netflix’s Sex/Life and has shared stages with artists including Norah Jones and The Lumineers while continuing to grow a devoted following.
