Come hear “true sound philosopher” (Oberösterreichische Nachrichten) and first-prize winner of the 2017 International Beethoven Piano Competition, Rodolfo Leone, return to Portland for a one-night only concert presented by the OMTA in partnership with PPI. The program features Franz Joseph Haydn’s Variations in F minor, Hob. XVII: 6, Ludwig van Beethoven’s Appassionata Sonata No. 23 in F minor, Op. 57, Frédéric Chopin’s Ballade No. 1 in G minor, Op. 23 and Polonaise Fantasy, Op. 61 as well as Franz Liszt’s Mephisto Waltz No. 1, S. 514.
