Mathis Picard Master Class

The Art of Creation & Creativity

Sunday, October 11 at 11:00 AM on the historic Rothrock Main Stage

Where does creativity actually come from? Mathis Picard has a theory, and it starts in the body.

This one opens as a lecture and turns into a conversation. Picard traces the sources of music and creation through the seven chakras, looking at how creative energy is stored and moved through the body. The through-line is simple: taking care of your mind, body, and spirit is not separate from making good work. It is the same job.

Picard started playing piano at three and was drawn immediately to music’s healing side. He now leads a solo project, a trio, and his orchestra, The Sound Orchestra, and shares this work with audiences around the world.

Open to musicians, students, teachers, and anyone curious about where their own ideas come from.
