AGNES OF GOD Dr. Martha Livingstone, a court-appointed psychiatrist, is summoned to a convent to assess the sanity of a novice accused of murdering her own unborn child. When the Mother Superior persists in obstructing the examination of young Agnes, Dr. Livingstone's suspicions grow. Questions regarding Agnes's guilt and the identity of the father are not so easily answered.
