Directors’ Q&A planned following the film

Join us in the intimate Anderson Studio for a night of independent cinema with a personal connection to its creators. Arrive early for a drink, then stay for a conversation with Writer-directors Morgan and Vincent, who plan to attend for a post-film Q&A.

Set in Gilded Age New York, Plucked follows Katherine Greene, a woman determined to divorce her emotionally unstable husband. There’s just one complication: an important dinner party meant to keep up appearances. As secrets emerge and tempers flare, the elegant evening unravels into jealousy, revenge, and outrageous, increasingly dangerous chaos.

Writer-directors Usher Morgan and Katie Vincent pair period splendor with a wicked sense of humor. The ensemble features Vincent alongside Catherine Curtin (Stranger Things, Orange Is the New Black), J. Anthony Crane (Outer Banks), and Susan Gallagher (Cobra Kai). The film won Best Feature at the East Village New York Film Festival.
