BHS Presents: Shrek The Musical

SHREK THE MUSICAL, based on the Oscar®winning DreamWorks film that started it all, brings the hilarious story of everyone's favorite ogre to dazzling new life on the stage.

In a faraway kingdom turned upside down, things get ugly when an unseemly ogre — not a handsome prince — shows up to rescue a feisty princess. Throw in a donkey who won't shut up, a bad guy with a SHORT temper, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there's one on hand...and his name is Shrek.

Full of all-new songs, great dancing and breathtaking scenery, SHREK THE MUSICAL is part romance, part twisted fairy tale and all irreverent fun for everyone! The production is under the direction of Dominic A. Cattero.

Tickets will be available for cast with special code beginning October 7th at midnight. General public tickets will be available Beginning October 15th.

Join Shrek and his friends for an ogre-ific breakfast adventure at the BFAC on Saturday November 16th at 9:30 AM – a SHREKFAST ! Journey to either Shrek’s Swamp or Lord Farquaad’s Castle in Duloc to enjoy the finest delicacies like Shrek’s Swamp Juice, Donkey’s Delicious Parfaits, and freshly-baked muffins from the Muffin Man (who lives on Drury Lane)! Fiona has chosen some of her breakfast favorites and Dragon is making sure they stay hot – scrambled eggs, French toast, sausage, and bacon (but don’t tell the Three Little Pigs!).

Guests at the Swamp and the Castle will be treated to a preview of musical performances from the show, visits (and autographs) with Fairytale Creatures, fun crafts, and tasty gingerbread cookies. Souvenirs and souvenir photos - taken with Shrek, Donkey, and Fiona on the Main Stage set - will be available for purchase beginning at 9 am. The Shrekfast buffet will be served starting at 9:30 am. Tickets are $20 per person for ages 12 and older and $18 per person for children up to age 11. If you wish to be seated with a group, please indicate that at the time the reservation is made as all seating will be pre-assigned.
