Russell Maliphant is one of Great Britain’s most prolific and celebrated contemporary choreographers. Making its Portland debut, the Russell Maliphant Company of four charismatic, powerful dancers, including Maliphant himself, will perform Maliphant’s highly praised new program Still Current, integrating ballet, martial arts, yoga and even capoeira. Enhancing the program will be lighting design by Michael Hulls and video animation by Jan Urbanowski, who has collaborated with Lady Gaga and George Michael.
