Living Colors
The Kahilu Theatre and Prince Dance Institute present "Living Colors", a theatrical dance performance using the climates of the big island of Hawaii as both backdrop and inspiration. Film, theater, contemporary dance, trapeze, hip hop and break dancing ensure for a high energy, visually stimulating experience.
The cast of 60 dancers ages 5 to adult have been creating the show during after-school classes at the Theatre. They will transport you on an inspiring and beautiful tour of the island - the perfromance will both entertain and educate by using the familiar to show what will ultimately be a new perspective of our home on the big island.
With choreography by Angel Prince. Elizabeth McDonald, Lynn Barre, and Grady Sullivan and theatrical scenes by Beth Dunnington. Photography by Jean Charles Cuillandre.
