The Woman in Black
When Alice Drablow, the sole occupant of isolated Eel Marsh House, dies, Arthur Kipps, a junior solicitor, is sent to the funeral. There, he sees a pale young woman dressed in black, and is set on a course to uncover the tragic secrets of Eel Marsh. Years later he recounts his experiences to an actor, and the conversations and actions of these two men recreate the eerie experiences of the past.
Acclaimed by the critics, now in its 25th year in the West End, The Woman In Black combines the power and intensity of live theatre with the cinematic quality of film noir.
