Matt Shepard was a gay first year student at the University of Wyoming. His murder altered the conscience of America and the world. Rather than focusing on the horrific crimes surrounding his death, this personal documentary focuses on who Matt was from the perspective of those closest to him. Family photos, vacation videos, and even his personal diary entries, allow us to reflect on the life of the youth gone-too-soon and to learn about the effects his death has had in raising worldwide awareness about discrimination against the LGBTQ community.
