Anuhea

Anuhea's signature guitar rhythms, sultry vocals and song writing weave acoustic soul, R&B, jazz and blues with a hip hop and pop appeal, making her one of Hawai`i's rising stars. Fluent in Hawaiian, Anuhea is proud of her island roots heritage.

Born on the island of Maui, music has been in Anuhea's family for generations - her father is from the surfing culture of Haleiwa, on the North Shore of Oahu. His younger sister, Nalani is part of the award winning contemporary Hawaiian music trio, Na Leo Pilimehana. Anuhea's mother, an Oregon native, comes from a musical family as well, her father is a jazz and blues guitarist.

Anuhea will play with full backing band in her first Kahilu Theatre appearance.
