Love, Sex, and the I.R.S.

by William Van Zandt & Jane Milmore
Directed by Greg Friedman

This farce includes a concoction of mistaken identities, crazy misconceptions and loads of laughs. Jon and Leslie, roommates, have filed tax returns as a couple, even though “Leslie” is a man. When the none too bright IRS man comes to call, they hit the panic button and Leslie dresses as a woman. What Jon doesn’t know is that Leslie is having an affair with Jon’s fiancee, who also stops by, as well as Leslie’s ex girlfriend and Jon’s mother. High jinx ensues. Love, Sex and the IRS is the perfect farce for that time of year when so many would love to laugh all tax woes away with this clever comedy.
