Project Ahab;
or, Eye of the Whale

July 18-Aug 23

A new musical about how a band of hippies, mystics and visionaries changed the world.  Set in 1973, in the formative years of the ecology movement, The Ahab Project converts Melville’s classic story of a man bent on killing a whale, to that of a man determined to stop the killing of whales; or, “Ahab goes after the whalers.”

Building on the success of last season’s musical epic, Red Virgin, writer Gary Graves, and director John Patrick Moore team up with musical director Ben Euphrat.
