A wealthy Parisian falls under the influence of Tartuffe, a self-righteous hypocrite, and becomes obsessed the ideals the trickster supposedly stands for. Tartuffe, the world’s most famous scoundrel, is comic genius Molière’s tale of naiveté, religious hypocrisy, and the triumphant victory of good over evil.
