In each of her new works, set to music of Zorn, J.S Bach, New Orleans musician Henry Butler and trumpeter Steven Bernstein (The Lounge Lizards, Sex Mob), Tharp turns her decades of experience—dances for Hollywood, the Broadway stage, ballets, modern dances—into living proof that she is one of the century’s most treasured artists.
