A World-Premiere Tribute to Auburn
SYMPHONY CONCERT
Saturday, January 30, 2016 - 7:30PM
Sunday, January 31, 2016 - 2:30PM
Auburn Performing Arts Center

Local composer Daniel Ott is “a rising-star contemporary American composer” (Portland Monthly), heard all over the world, most notably at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the Kennedy Center, and the Musée du Louvre. Hear the world premiere of Ott’s original piece, commissioned by the Seattle Commissioning Club for Auburn Symphony – a tribute to the City of Auburn for their two decades of support. Works by Brahms and Shostakovich, including his Piano Concerto No. 2, featuring soloist Christina Siemens, will complete this exciting and special weekend in the history of Auburn Symphony and the city itself, with guest conductor Alastair Willis.

Meet Daniel Ott & Alastair Willis after the 1/31 concert, at a special reception honoring the City of Auburn, at the Gathering Space at Messiah Lutheran Church (across the street from the PAC) - $10 per person, limited availability.
