See the future of dance and the next generation of great dancers at this special showcase. The 63 dancers taking the stage are all 14 - 22 years old and selected from auditions held across North America to take part in Northwest Dance Project's exciting training, creation and mentoring project for pre-professional dancers, our Summer Dance Intensive, taking place in Portland July 20 - August 14, 2015. This showing is the culmination of four focused and challenging weeks of working with Northwest Dance Project's leading artists and dynamic company members Andrea Parson (Princess Grace Award winner 2010), Franco Nieto (Princess Grace Award winner 2012), Ching Ching Wong, Viktor Usov (Princess Grace Award winner 2014), and Lindsey McGill, as well as special guest teachers and master coaches. This concluding Summer Dance Intensive Showing will give these talented young dancers the opportunity to take the theater stage to perform select works from Northwest Dance Project's expansive, all-original repertoire, as well as new works choreographed especially for them.
