With roots firmly grounded in Japanese Taiko tradition, Kenny Endo stretches the genre by incorporating funk, jazz, Afro-Cuban and Hawaiian elements. For his 40th Anniversary, Kenny will embark on a nationwide tour with his Kenny Endo Contemporary Ensemble. Among the stellar artists joining Kenny are Abe Lagrimas (vibraphone, drums, ukulele), Kaoru Watanabe (Japanese bamboo flutes), Masaru Koga (flute, drums), Shoko Hikage (koto, dance), and Michihiro Sato (shamisen).
