Pygmalion

A comedy by George Bernard Shaw

First presented on stage to the public in 1913, Pygmalion is the story of Professor of phonetics Henry Higgins who makes a bet that he can train a bedraggled Cockney flower girl, Eliza Doolittle, to pass for a duchess at an ambassador’s garden party Shaw’s play has been adapted numerous times, most notably as the musical My Fair Lady and the film of the same name.

Pygmalion features Karron Graves (NH Theatre Award Winner for The Voysey Inheritance), Greg Wood (Absurd Person Singular), Dale Hodges (NH Theatre Award Winner for Outside Mullingar), and Michael Page (Outside Mullingar, Charley’s Aunt). Directed by Gus Kaikkonen.
