"Frauenliebe und Leben: Variations."  Fasten your seatbelts as Susan Graham takes us on an unforgettable exploration of Schumann's iconic song cycle, Frauenliebe und Leben (A Women's Love and Life).  This incredibly varied program - musically, dramatically, and stylistically - pairs each song in the Schumann cycle with works by other composers including Schumann, Strauss, Ravel, Faure, and Tchaikovsky.  The juxtaposition of these songs, and Ms. Graham's always engaging interpretations, illuminate Schumann's timeless themes in new and unexpected ways.
