Clybourne Park by Bruce Norris
March 4 - 13. Fridays/Saturdays at 7:30 pm, Sundays at 2 pm.
Presented by Madison College Performing Arts, directed by Miranda Hawk.
Winner of a Pulitzer Prize and a Tony Award, Clybourne Park by Bruce Norris is dark comedy that is wickedly funny and sharply provocative. Continuing the conversation Lorraine Hansberry started with Raisin in the Sun, Norris reveals the expected and unexpected dangers of defining community. No one is left unscathed as characters debate the value of race, sexuality, gender, disability and the ultimate cost of grandstanding.
THIS PRODUCTION IS RECOMMENDED TO AUDIENCE 15 YEARS OF AGE AND OVER.
Clybourne Park encourages the audience to question social attitudes in ways that can be unsettling and uncomfortable. Characters often use strong language that some would consider unsuitable for polite conversation. Please be advised.
