Our annual Summer Splendors show returns to Lincoln Performance Hall and features three new, important works from three acclaimed female choreographers.
On-line sales end at 3:30pm each show day.
Walk-up tickets, including 1/2 Price student/senior tickets with ID, available at theater box office each show day beginning at 6:30pm.
"Arts For All" tickets available at theater box office each show day beginning at 7pm.
Summer Splendors features:
World Premiere - Sarah Slipper (NW Dance Project founding Artistic Director)
Titled “Woolf Papers” - full company work based on Virginia Woolf’s “Mrs. Dalloway”.
World Premiere - Carla Mann (Portland Choreographer + Reed College Dance Dept. Chair)
Titled “We Were Wolves” - full company work with original score by Portland’s own Heather Perkins.
Sixth work for NW Dance Project
World Premiere - Yin Yue (Chinese-born New York City Choreographer)
Titled "Distant Fold" - full company work with NW Dance Project trainee corps and original score by Juliane Jones and Doug Beiden of Ragged Silk. Third work for NW Dance Project
