When two frustrated London housewives decide to rent a villa in Italy for a holiday away from their bleak marriages, they recruit two very different English women to share the cost and the experience. There, among the wisteria blossoms and Mediterranean sunshine, all four bloom again—rediscovering themselves in ways that they—and we—could never have expected.

Edmonds Driftwood Players has teamed up with one of Edmonds’ favorite Italian eateries for a delightful combination of fine dining and entertainment during the production of Enchanted April by Matthew Barber, from the novel by Elizabeth Von Arnim, a Tony Award Nominee for Best Play in 2003. This charming tale of love and rediscovery is sure to inspire us all. Pair it with fabulous food from Girardi’s Osteria Italiana in Edmonds and prepare for a perfect evening.

Tickets for this special event are $40/per person (current subscribers and ticket holders can add the dinner ticket for $20) and include a ticket to a performance of the show and dinner at Giardi’s.

Our special dinner menu includes:

* A choice of Caesar Salad or Minestrone Soup

* Spaghetti and Meatballs or Puttenesca (spaghetti in a spicy sauce)

* A choice of Caramel Parfait or Lemon Sorbet for dessert

Please note: dinner ticket does not include beverages, tax and gratuity which will be the responsibility of our patrons and due at the end of service.

Dinner & Show tickets must be purchased in advance and will be offered on a “space available basis” for each performance. Reservations for dinner will be available between 6 and 6:30pm BEFORE the Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances and at 5pm AFTER the Sunday performances. Reservations will be made automatically after package is purchased through Edmonds Driftwood Players. Dinner vouchers will be mailed after purchase (or arrangements can be made to pick up in office) and must be presented to server when seated for dinner service. Each voucher is good for one dinner and valid only on date of performance. Voucher has no cash value, is non-refundable and not good with any other offer.
