Four unsuspecting guests of the Bliss family discover that a weekend in the idyllic English countryside can be anything but blissful. Meet Judith; this matriarch is a retired London stage actress with a flair for the over dramatic. Her husband David is a self-absorbed novelist. Their son, Simon, is a would-be artist who probably shouldn't be; and daughter, Sorel, is a moody and spoiled debutante. Add in one surly and belligerent servant and watch the sparks fly. This witty comedy of manners quickly becomes a hilarious roaring 20s farce.
