Presented by the Sun City Grand Music Club. Hoot-e-nan-ny—noun – Definition – an informal, festive performance by folk singers, often including audience participation, with the use of acoustic instruments. Join David Durham and several of his friends from the Acoustic Instrument Group as they take you back to the 1960's. The songs will include many of your favorites from folk, western, bluegrass and rock and roll. This will be a spirited SCG sing-a-long, with lyrics to the songs shown on the overhead screens.
The net proceeds from this event will go to Soldiers Best Friend. SBF is a local charity whose mission it is to train rescued dogs to become service dogs for veterans with PTSD. We are going to raise the roof in song and in the process are going to raise some much needed $$ to help SBF complete its new dog training facility in Peoria.
