As the gun smoke settles after the Civil War, a wounded Jewish Confederate Officer returns to find his family’s plantation in ruins. The only waiting company and hope for his survival? Two former slaves. The three men wrestle with their faith, the secrets of their past and the irony of Jewish slave ownership while meagerly fashioning a Passover Seder.

"Emotionally potent...surreal in the layers of meaning... a quiet force...We are in the hands of a playwright who wants to mess with our viscera."
- The New York Times
