triangle productions! presents a one-night only reading of a very special play: Blue-Eyed Black is the inaugural play of triangle's 4-part reading series entitled The Brown Paper Bag Series. These plays are all written by African-American women dealing with the topic of anti-lynchings.

After each reading, a talk-back will be held so that the audience, director, and cast can discuss the topic of the evening and the relevance of such plays today.

The reading series is "Pay What You Can" with the lowest denomination being $5.00. There are 'tiers' to which you can purchase, but the base is $5.00.

The goal is to reach a broad audience and to read/discuss plays that have not had major productions which were written by African-American female playwrights in the early 20th century.
