Grandma Abby brings to a life full of challenges a little faith, a lot of loe, and more hope than seems warranted. She is raising her grandson Jackie, who is estranged from his troubled father. Only Abby herself believes that unending love can cope with adolescent angst and the pressures of life in the Great Depression. But it's Christmas, and a little help from an unlikely Visitor, helps light a path.
