Shawn Kilgore returns to The Winter Park Playhouse Spotlight Cabaret Series to debut his latest solo cabaret entitled A Kid at Heart: Songs That Take Me Back. From vinyl to 8-track, cassette to compact disc, A Kid at Heart is a collection of songs that have stayed with Shawn since childhood, From Streisand to Styx and Elvis to The Muppets, you're sure to want to sing along! Playhouse patrons will remember Mr. Kilgore as El Gallo in The Fantasticks, Alvin in I Love My Wife, and Nick in Baby.  Playhouse Musical Director Christopher Leavy will accompany on the piano. This unique form of entertainment showcases a different professional singer each month up front in the beautiful lobby bar. A truly "New York-style" cabaret, each performance is approximately 55 minutes in length with no intermission. Doors open at 6:30pm for General Seating.
