In Arabic, ‘Tarab’ encapsulates the moment a musical experience fills you with emotion to the point of ecstasy, lifting you to a higher state of being.
In this workshop, Claudia will first help you gain a dancer’s understanding of the concept of Tarab. You will then be challenged with exercises that will help you come closer to experiencing Tarab in your dance.

  • Difficulty: All levels welcome
  • Please bring: your favorite reusable water container
  • Optional: yoga mat, dance shoes, pad and pen, exercise towel
