From Delta blues great Charley Patton to Jimi Hendrix (who was part Cherokee), to The Band's Robbie Robertson, Rumble celebrates the influence of Native Americans on rock and roll. Using little-known stories, concert footage, and interviews with living legends, this deeply insightful film shows us that some of our most treasured artists and songs found their inspiration in ancient, native melodies and harmonies infused with a desire to resist—a missing chapter in the history of American music.
