INTELLIGENT DANCE: SPECIFIC CONDITIONING FOR FLEXIBILITY & INJURY PREVENTION

In this class, you will determine what your physical goals are for your dance, and how to achieve them. You will be building a balanced and goal-specific sequence for your personal practice and you will learn how to progress this sequence as you continue to become stronger and more flexible.

Ashley will have trained assistants for demonstration and to help give individual attention for this class, for safety and support.

Please bring a mat, 2 yoga blocks, a yoga strap, kneepads, socks, a journal, and a sense of adventure! All levels are welcome; we will be discussing how to work with various levels of abilities and how to progress as quickly and efficiently as possible. Learn the exercises, sequences, principles, and modifications that you need to become your best personal coach so that you can be the best dancer you can be, injury free!

  • Difficulty: All levels welcome
  • Please bring: yoga mat, 2 yoga blocks, yoga strap, pad and pen, your favorite reusable water container
  • Optional: dance shoes, exercise towel
