Our two phenomenal co-concertmasters join together to present two very different takes on the seasons. Vivaldi’s immortal collection of concerti are known the world over for their evocative sounds and virtuoso demands of the soloist. Centuries later Argentinean composer Astor Piazzolla wrote his own version inspired by the infectious rhythm of the tango, which quickly became a concert standard for string orchestras.
