"The Joint is Jumpin" - The Great American Songbook - Chapter 2 : the 1930s

The Joint is Jumpin' features songs from The Great American Songbook, Chapter 2 : the 1930's performed by the 70-voice Waimea Community Chorus accompanied by an instrumental jazz ensemble. The program showcases composers George and Ira Gershwin, Harold Arlen, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin and Johnny Mercer. Other composers are represented through, "Forty Second Street", "Ain't Misbehavin", "As Time Goes By", "The Way You Look Tonight", "Moonglow" and "hooray for Hollywood." The concert promises to have you tapping your toes and singing along to these popular American hits from the 1930's.
