“I only care about the music” – Neil Young. Hailed as the Pacific Northwest’s premier Neil Young Tribute show, “The NEIL YOUNGS & The Harvest Moon Band”, was conceived in the summer of 2015. Friends and bandmates, Steve Crabtree and Andy Volmer, both avid fans of Neil Young, decided to put together a unique tribute to the man whose music has influenced not only them, but millions of musicians and listeners around the world. Uncomfortable with the idea of the long-standing tradition in the tribute world of ‘character’ acting, coupled with the fact that neither Steve or Andy wanted to wear a wig and ‘pretend’ to be Neil Young, they decided to share singing duties and focus on the music and not the persona, as Neil Young has done his entire career.
