THE VELOCITY OF AUTUMN
by Eric Coble
May 3-13, 2018 KW Little Theatre, 9 Princess St. E, Waterloo
Alexandra is a senior who refuses to go gently into that good night. She's in a showdown with her adult children who want her to move to a retirement facility. In her corner: her wit, passion and the fact she has barricaded herself in her downtown home with enough Molotov cocktails to take out the block. But her children have a secret weapon: estranged son Chris, who returns after 20 years, crawls through his mother's second story window, and becomes the family's unlikely mediator.
