Lisa Steindler has been at the helm of Z Space for over nine years. In that time Z Space has become known as the premiere space for cultivating, producing and presenting new work in San Francisco. Z Space, under Lisa’s direction, has produced local, regional and national theater & dance makers as well as bringing legendary companies like the Wooster Group and William Kentridge & The Handspring Company.

Robert Avila is an arts journalist based in San Francisco. He has traveled nationally and internationally writing pieces for American Theatre Magazine, Culturebot, Dancer’s Group, Theatre Bay Area, and many others. He was senior theater critic for SF Bay Guardian for many years. He has championed the most cutting edge work crossing disciplines to report on hybrid performance, theater and dance.
