Mel Brooks is at work again - adapting his legendary funny film into a "monstrously good  entertainment."  Frederick Frankenstein finds when he inherits his family's estate in Transylvania, he also gets a hundbacked side-kick, Igor, as well as the insane desire to bring to life a creature to rival his grandfather's. Eventually, of course, the monster escapes and hilarity continuously abounds.  Every bit as much fun to newcomers to Brooks' retelling as to those who remember the film, Young Frankenstein has all the fun of the screen sensation with a little extra theatrical flair added.
